Our latest camper conversion, the VW Syncro, includes all the bells and whistles - from solar panels to CCS charging, V2L (vehicle to load), A/C, power steering and full camping interior, we’ve had a lot of fun working on this conversion. Pairing a 90 kWh battery pack with a 120 kW motor, and retaining the original gearbox for 4x4 capability, the Syncro eats up the terrain. You have a tough job to remind yourself you’re not driving a Land Rover when off-road. We’ve even included a custom power management system for the internal camping kit, with 400 DC / 240 AC converters running the ‘camper mode’ ancillaries; sink, hobs, fridge, lights, aux system and solar panels.
We’ve converted many campervans over the years and have certainly had some favourites. From the early bay and splitscreen T1 and T2 to our latest camper conversion the T25 Syncro we’ve tackled them all. If you’ve been following our social media you’ll also know our workshop van, Moggy’s own 1969 dual car T2 pick up. As with all of Moggy’s vehicles this one is a little bit special - packed with 450hp and a range of over 200 miles there’s a whole lot of fun to be had.
